ARIA FREHNER
Dance Instructor/Choreographer
Aria is currently a dance and biology double major at Mount Holyoke College and will be graduating in the spring. Her dance career began at Peterborough Dance Theater where she was a part of the student dance company and had the opportunity to choreograph multiple student works. During her ten years at PDT, three of the pieces she choreographed were accepted to be performed at the Dance Northeast Convention. At Mount Holyoke, she has had the opportunity to enhance her technique as well as be in faculty and student work, including her own. She choreographed for South Hadley High School’s spring musical, Guys and Dolls, in 2023. This year, she will be choreographing her senior capstone at Mount Holyoke. As she continues to move through her dance career, she is curious to explore how dance can be used as a vehicle of science communication and advocacy.
During her summers, Aria is a summer camp counselor at The Well School in Peterborough, NH where she works with children between the ages of three and seven. She looks forward to having fun with her campers every year.
She is very excited to be back at The Dance Studio this year!
