MOLLY ROMAKER

Substitute Instructor

Molly graduated with a B.A. in Dance from Mount Holyoke College in 2016. While a student at Mount Holyoke, Molly choreographed four pieces and had the opportunity to appear in works by her peers, professors and guest artists. A Connecticut native, she began her dance career at The Complex Performing and Creative Arts Centre in Putnam, CT where she danced and taught for many years. At The Complex, she was a member of the Breakin’ Through II Dance Company for three years, a student-run modern dance company. She has choreographed for numerous community and school musical productions, including Aladdin Jr., High School Musical, Working, and Next to Normal, to name a few. Throughout her dance career, Molly has studied modern and contemporary dance, ballet, pointe, musical theater, jazz, hip hop, tap and acro, and has performed all around Connecticut and Massachusetts.

Currently, Molly works at Eagle Hill School in Hardwick, Massachusetts, where she teaches dance and manages marketing for the school’s performing arts center. Previously, she has worked at The College of the Holy Cross coordinating artist residencies (including dance residencies with Bill T. Jones/Arnie Zane Company, Bandaloop, Compagnie Hervé Koubi, and Ronald K. Brown) and at Hartford Stage Theater Company.

Molly lives in Longmeadow, MA with her husband, Josh, their son and their cat. In her down time, you can most likely find Molly curled up with a mug of tea and a good book or a crochet project.
