DANIELLE DECARO
Assistant Instructor / College Mentorship Program
Danielle is currently attending Central Connecticut State University (CCSU) pursuing a degree through the Dance Education PK-12 program.

Born and raised in Springfield, MA, dance has always been her greatest passion. At the ripe age of 2, she started her dance journey at Mary-Ann’s Dance Studio before joining The Dance Studio family at the age of 5. At the age of 8 she joined the studio’s performance/competition team, being part of the studio’s first ever mini team.
Now at the age of 19, Danielle is beginning to pursue her dance teaching career.
Danielle attended Springfield International Charter School where she graduated with honors and a 3.8 GPA in the spring of 2024, while also graduating from The Dance Studio. During her time dancing at The Dance Studio, she took classes in ballet, jazz, modern/contemporary, tap, hip hop, Broadway Jazz, and her performance team rehearsals. She was also an assistant instructor in the pre-dance classes and did some office work at the front desk.
In addition to being in the Dance Program at CCSU, she has been newly inducted into the honors program for dance education and, as a freshman, accumulated enough points to graduate with honors. Danielle is also a part of Dancentral, the dance company on campus, and is the secretary of the school's line dancing club.
Danielle is excited for this new step in her dance journey and to share her knowledge and love of dance with a new generation.
